Bella’s Big Promotion: From Shredding to Community Mascot
We’re incredibly proud to share a special update about Bella. A familiar and much-loved presence who has now officially stepped into a new role within our community.
Bella has recently progressed to become our official mascot at Remembrance Day parades, and if that wasn’t impressive enough, she’s also taken on responsibilities as our “Head of Security.” It’s a title she carries with both dignity and just the right amount of charm.
Over time, Bella has shown a natural ability to bring people together. Whether it’s offering quiet comfort during reflective moments or adding warmth and approachability to formal occasions, she has become a steady and reassuring presence.
Her involvement in Remembrance Day events has been particularly meaningful standing proudly alongside Joanne and other participants, Watching Ashley in the parade embodying respect, remembrance, and unity.
Her new “security” role might raise a few smiles, but anyone who knows Bella understands there’s truth behind the title. Always alert, always aware, and always looking out for her people, she has a way of making everyone feel welcome.

Bella’s journey to this point hasn’t been about training alone, it’s her temperament, her loyalty, and her connection with the community that have made her so special. She’s not just attending events anymore; she’s become part of what makes them memorable.
We’re excited to see Bella continue in this role and to watch her presence grow even further in the months ahead. If you see her at upcoming events (in her poppy bandanna), be sure to say hello she’ll likely be on duty, but she never turns down a friendly greeting.
Here’s to Bella, mascot, guardian, and a true community favourite.
