I'm Joanne Bowmer, founder of JB Property Law and an award-winning property lawyer with more than 20 years' experience in residential conveyancing. Throughout my career I've worked with thousands of clients, but one thing has never changed. People deserve clear advice, honest communication and a lawyer who genuinely cares about the outcome.
Why I Founded JB Property Law
After many years working within larger firms, I wanted to build something different.
I founded JB Property Law in 2022 with a simple vision: to create a modern conveyancing practice where clients always know who is handling their transaction, phone calls are returned, communication is proactive, and every client receives the time and attention they deserve.
We're lawyers first and business owners second. We put our role as legal professionals and our responsibility to our clients at the heart of everything we do.

As the wife of an Army veteran and with close family members continuing to serve, I understand first-hand the realities of military life. I personally manage every Armed Forces transaction from start to finish, providing continuity, practical advice and a service built around the demands of military life.

We also offer a 15% discount on our legal fees, charge no additional legal fee for Forces Help to Buy transactions, and donate £100 from every Forces Help to Buy matter to the Duke of Lancaster's Regimental Charity.
