Recognising the Dedication of Our Reserve Forces on Reserves Day

Today, on Reserves Day, we recognise and thank the men and women of the Reserve Forces who balance civilian life with military service.

Reservists play a vital role in supporting the UK’s Armed Forces, demonstrating dedication, professionalism, and commitment both within their local communities and across the country. Many quietly balance careers, family responsibilities, and community roles alongside their military duties. Stepping forward whenever they are needed.
